Adele confessed that most of her fans mispronounced her name.

Speaking on Happy Hour with Adele with Benito Skinner following the release of her ‘I Drink Wine’ music video, a fan asked her about the 30-year-old’s songwriting and her journey to self-love.

The fan, speaking on video, managed to nail the pronunciation of her name in the process, leaving Adele in awe.

Referring to an area close to her birthplace, she said: “Where is she from, Enfield?” She said my name perfectly!

The mother-of-one then said she preferred people to call her ‘uh-dale’ instead of ‘uh-dell’, staying true to her roots and North London accent.
